The Salty Crew consists of 7 Sailors and 7 Senoritas. The sailors, led by the legendary Captain Diego, are an odd group of derelicts who fled Spain for a variety of reasons including running from the law or from ex-wives. The senoritas (which are actually mermaids), led by Queen Maria, are all extraordinarily beautiful sisters who have certain quirks of their own.
They met by a strange twist of fate, when the senoritas saved the sailors from certain death after a huge storm destroyed their ship. Lonely no more, they currently reside on a small tropical island somewhere off the coast of Mexico, where they drink tequila all day and enjoy each other's company - if you know what I'm talking about!
The Salty Kids are a wild bunch to say the least. They are all, in some weird way or another, related to the original Salty Crew. Although they are officially led by The Cutthroat Kid, Suzi Surfer would say that she is the real leader. They have a secret handshake and a hidden clubhouse where they meet every other Friday to hang-out and search for buried treasure.
